Exposure to Agent Orange

Exposure to Agent Orange which covers those who served “In-Country”  Vietnam from 1/9/1962 to 5/7/1975), Thailand (1/9/1962 to 6/30/1976), Laos (12/1/1965 to 9/30/1969), Cambodia at Mimot or Krek, Campong Cham Province (4/16/1969 to 4/30/1969), Guam or American Samoa or in the territorial waters thereof (1/9/1962 to 7/31/1980), Johnson Atoll or on a ship that called Johnson Atoll (1/1/1972 to 9/30/1977) or in the Surrounding Waters of Vietnam. Those who have been diagnosed with any of the listed conditions may be entitled to disability compensation and health care benefits. 

Conditions Associated with Agent Orange Exposure

  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) - Lou Gehrig’s Disease
  • Acute and Subacute Transient Peripheral Neuropathy (must have started within 12 months of exposure)
  • AL Amyloidosis
  • Bladder Cancer
  • Chloracne
  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
  • Hodgkin’s Disease
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Multiple Myeloma
  • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
  • Porphyria Cutanea Tarda
  • Prostate Cancer
  • Respiratory Cancers
  • Soft Tissue Sarcoma (other than Osteosarcoma, Chondrosarcoma, Kaposi’s sarcoma, or Mesothelioma
  • Type II Diabetes Mellitus
  • Ischemic Heart Disease
  • Hairy Cell Leukemia
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Parkinsonism
  • Hypertension 
  • Monoclonal Gammopathy of undetermined significance
