Gulf War Veterans
Exposure to
Unidentified Agents while serving in Persian Gulf Theater and have an undiagnosed, condition or symptom that appears anytime before December 1, 2002 and is chronic and lasts at least six months may be considered service connected.
Conditions Connected with Persian Gulf War
- Abnormal Weight Loss
- Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Lou Gehrig’s Disease
- Cardiovascular Signs or Symptoms Fatigue
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- Fibromyalgia
- Gastrointestinal Signs or Symptoms
- Headaches
- Joint Pain
- Menstrual Disorder
- Muscle Pain
- Neurological Signs or Symptoms
- Neuropsychological Signs or Symptoms
- Skin Symptoms
- Sleep Disorder
- Upper and Lower Respiratory Symptoms
Gulf War Deployed Veterans who:
Served any length of time in the Southwest Theater of Operations during the Persian Gulf War, or
Served any length of time in Afghanistan, Syria, Djibouti, or Uzbekistan on or after September 19, 2001 AND
Manifests one of hte following to a degree within 10 years from the date of seperation from military service:
- Asthma
- Rhinitis
- Sinusitis to include Rhinosinusitis
